Research Interests

My areas of interest include the relationship between society and health, and the consequences of the social determinants of health for experiencing physical and mental well-being. In particular, I am interested in the impact social class and material and economic inqualities play in determining both physical and mental wellbeing. Related to this, theoretically, I have a keen interest in Marxism and neo-Marxism, as well as critical psychological approaches. Additionally, my interests extend to exploring alternative social forms and organisations which support and promote positive wellbeing.

Postgraduate Project Opportunities

I am willing to supervise a PhD
