Dmytro Babelyuk is a Ph.D. student in health economics at È«Ãñ²ÊƱ supervised by Professor Rhiannon Tudor Edwards, co-director at CHEME, È«Ãñ²ÊƱ, and Professor Deborah Fitzsimmons Director of Swansea Centre for Health Economics at Swansea University. His project is focused on NHS medical workforce shortages, especially the potential of innovative medical associate professions to become a gamechanger for the staffing issue.

Dmytro's PhD project is focused on exploring the opportunities for wider implementation of innovative medical associate professions as a solution for massive medical workforce shortages within the NHS. 

This docotral study is sponsored by Hywel Dda University Health Board. 

To cover a chosen research idea Dmytro will maintain the next research methods: 

1) Programme Budgeting and Marginal Analysis 

2) Systematic literature review 

3) Budget Impact Analysis 

4) Survey amongst current medical staff members 

Dmytro was born in Lviv, Ukraine. 

He has a medical background. After the graduation from medical university, Dmytro worked as a neurologist in Lviv Regional Hospital and as a Head of Medicine in a local professional football club called Rukh Lviv.
